Our Principal

Government Arts and Science College for Women , Mannargudi, is a newly started college during the academic year 2025-2026. The college began functioning with seven students. The college is an icon to Mannargudi as it is the first Government women’s college in the region.

The college was established to promote the welfare and empowerment of women in and around Mannargudi. Through education women can achieve higher positions in society and contribute to the progress of Tamilnadu and India.

This institution aims to empower women through quality education and enable them to excel in various fields including government services and competitive examinations. Education transforms society and helps women achieve independence, confidence and success in life.
